Designer I

SDG Architects, a full service East San Francisco Bay architecture firm with 30 years of experience in the industry, is looking for motivated, detail-oriented, personable recent Architecture graduates to join our team in the position of Designer I. Positions are full time and offer excellent benefits and ample opportunity for growth within the firm.

  • working on a residential or commercial project team under the direction and mentorship of a Project Manager
  • gaining valuable experience in design development, construction documentation and jurisdictional plan check
  • growing and developing through mentorship by a licensed Architect

Ideal candidates must:

  • have a degree from an accredited Architecture program
  • be proficient in AutoCAD
  • be able to show project experience in design development and construction documentation
  • have strong verbal and written skills
  • be determined and motivated to work and excel in a productive, team oriented, deadline-driven environment
  • prior experience in an architecture firm is a plus

ARCHITECTURAL INTERN

We are currently seeking motivated and engaging students to join our team as Architectural Interns. These paid positions are full-time and offer excellent opportunities to learn while gaining
valuable work experience in an innovative, proven, full-service architecture firm.
Our Interns are assigned to a residential or commercial project team under the direction of a skilled Project Manager. As a valued team member, Interns gain insight and experience in the architectural process, contributing in the areas of design development and construction documentation. Interns will utilize advanced architectural software and methodologies and play
a significant role in the successful execution of multiple SDG projects.
