Nestled at the northern edge of Calistoga, Yellow Rose Ranch is envisioned as a residential community that celebrates the region’s natural beauty and small-town character. Working in collaboration with The True Life Companies and the City of Calistoga, SDG Architects provided comprehensive land-planning services to shape this 46-acre site into a cohesive, connected neighborhood that harmonizes with its scenic Napa Valley setting.
The plan introduces a collection of single-family homes complemented by attached and detached accessory dwelling units (ADUs), expanding Calistoga’s range of housing options while preserving open-space connections and natural features. SDG’s design emphasizes a walkable layout, efficient circulation, and generous community open spaces that link seamlessly to the surrounding landscape.
Through careful site analysis and collaboration with environmental and civic partners, SDG Architects helped create a land plan that balances growth and preservation. Yellow Rose Ranch reflects a vision of sustainable community living, one that honors Calistoga’s rural charm while providing thoughtfully designed homes and meaningful connections to nature.
