Project Overview

Nuevo is a reinvented master-planned community in the heart of Santa Clara, offering homes designed to support modern living, working, and recreation. The community blends contemporary residential design with walkable amenities, open space, and connectivity to Silicon Valley’s major employment centers.

As part of the larger Nuevo vision, SDG Architects led the design of the Townflats neighborhood, delivering 290 contemporary three-story townhomes that balance density, livability, and flexibility. These homes feature decks, efficient layouts, and adaptable spaces designed to support work-from-home lifestyles and evolving household needs.

The Townflats are integrated into Nuevo’s broader LIVE. WORK. PLAY. framework, placing residents within walking distance of parks, retail, and community amenities while remaining highly connected to Apple, Google, Meta, NVIDIA, Caltrain, BART, and Highway 101. Sustainable design strategies, energy-efficient systems, smart-home features, and EV-charging capability reinforce Nuevo’s commitment to clean, healthy, future-ready living.

Nuevo’s shared amenities—including neighborhood parks, bike paths, retail and dining, community gardens, dog parks, and outdoor gathering spaces—create an active, connected environment where everyday life extends beyond the home. The Townflats contribute a vital residential component to this larger master plan, offering modern urban living within a vibrant, thoughtfully planned community.
